If you receive an email or call from a company claiming that they will help your registration of ISLC2022, it is a scam.
Do not send your credit card details under any circumstances. The Organizing Committee has nothing to do with those companies.

Category Change from On-line to In-person can be possible by Sep. 26. Oct. 6.
(*)However, currently, those who wish to participate in the conference in-person from outside Japan need to obtain VISA and ERFS (Entrants, Returnees Follow‐up System) certificate to enter Japan regardless of their nationality (except person who has permanent residency in Japan)
ISLC2022 organizers will be pleased to prepare visa application documents including ERFS certificate for the presenters who meets the designated conditions upon their requests. Since the VISA to Japan is valid for 3 months only, we will start accepting the VISA application in August. Further information about the VISA application will be available on the official website in August.

・Members*1 are required to fill in their membership ID on online registration form to proof the status.
・At least one author of each accepted paper should register for the conference, otherwise the paper will be cancelled, not be presented in the conference and not be included in the IEEE Xplore after the conference.
・Student rate*2 is applicable only to those who have student status at the time of conference. Students are required to submit a scanned copy (in either jpeg or pdf format) of their student ID or student certificate letter from their supervisors via online registration form. Please be advised that student rate will not be applied for students who have full time job.
・Accompanying persons*3 are limited to the participants' family members only.
For the attendee who plan to attend in-person from outside Japan (except person who has permanent residency in Japan):
Please register by the end of Aug. to have enough time to get VISA (Please see Visa information below. Current rule is special due to COVID).
For other in-person attendees and online attendees:
We strongly recommend completing the registration and payment before the early-bird registration deadline (17:00 of Sep. 16[JST]) to which the discount rates apply.

* Registration fee payment must be received prior to the deadline date in order to remain at the current registration rate.

Issuance of Receipt
You can download the receipt from My Page. (We do not accept requests to send receipts via email or postal mail.)
Cancellation Policy
After the payment of registration fee is completed, you cannot change nor cancel your registration status online.
For change or cancellation of your registration, please contact ISLC2022 Conference Secretariat by e-mail (islc2022@or.knt.co.jp) with your name and registration number (A*****).
The date and time of the change and cancellation will be based on the working hours (Mon - Fri 9:30-17:00 [JST] except national holidays). After working hours, cancellation will be made on the next working day, which may incur charges.
Kindly note that ISLC2022 Conference Secretariat will be closed on dates below due to the National Holidays in Japan.

Cancellation Policy for Registration fee/Excursion
Before Oct. 2 (Sun), 2022 23:59: No Charge (*Commission fee will be deducted.)
After Oct. 2 (Sun), 2022 23:59: 100% of the registration fee/NO REFUND
Refund
Refunds will be made deducting bank transfer fees, and/or credit card service charges, and the cancellation penalties.
If payment was made by credit card, refund will be made to the same credit card.
If the payment was made by bank transfer, please inform us of your bank account by email.
