International semiconductor laser conference (ISLC) was started in 1967 at Las Vegas, USA. ISLC has been held basically every two years, and has long history over 50 years. The ISLC has the tradition of running single session format. The venues with the year held were shown in the figure. 28th ISLC will be held in Matsue Japan.
